| The K1200RS light mounts attach to the base of the black turn signal pods.
They are designed to work with the PIAA 1000X PLATINUM series lights. Manufactured from Billet aluminum with stylistic fluted grooves on the front face which tie into the styling of the bike. You won't want to turn these lights off when you see the difference these lights make. Most K1200RS owners are aware of the poor beam pattern of the stock headlight. Especially in a left hander at night on a dark road. You can point the beam on these lights exactly where you want them on each side of the bike with the multiple levels of adjustment built into these mounts. |
Mounts feature 3 levels of angle adjustment.
An offset pendulum angle adjustment to keep the lights parallel. Left to right adjustment is done by pivoting on the 10mm hanger bolt. Up and down is adjusted by the "frankenstein" bolts seen above on the mounts themselves. All K1200RS owners agree that the stock headlight and beam pattern are pretty weak. This is the ultimate fix for your inability to see at night at speed. | |
